After a good start to the new year and the company break at our inn, we are looking forward to the three pigeon markets, where we will continue the tradition of previous years with live music and cheerful card drawing with our guests. However, the charitable cause has changed this year. While the proceeds were previously used for the renovation of the Weiher chapel, they will now go to the "Sternenzelt Bamberg Children's and Youth Hospice." The dates are: Monday, February 3, March 2, and April 6.
This year, we will also celebrate the Kerwa festival twice. The Dorothee-Kerwa will take place from February 7 to 10, and the Mai-Kerwa from May 29 to June 1. But first, at the end of April, we'll kick off the Maibock weekend in a more laid-back style, returning to the origins of the tradition—just enjoying the fresh Bock beer in good company!
Of course, our two other Bockbier Anstich events cannot be missed: the autumn Bockbier Anstich (October 16 to 17) and the winter Rauchbock Anstich (December 10).
As usual, we will also have our monthly Schlachtschüssel. Dates for this (and all other events) will be posted here as soon as they are announced.
We are also excited about our limited and seasonal special brews. This year's lineup includes: Weiherer Schwärzla, Weiherer Grünhopfen-Pils, Weiherer Summer Ale, Weiherer India Pale Ale, Weiherer/Fat Head's Hopferla, Weiherer/Fat Head’s Imperial IPA, Weiherer Weizenbock, Weiherer/Cervejaria Bamberg Rauchbock, and Weiherer/Cervejaria Bamberg Zapfenduster. And maybe there will be a surprise or two!
