Kundmüller brewery wins at the World Beer Awards and Meininger’s International Craft Beer Award - a total of 16 awards, including best German Pils, best German Bock and cellar beer of the year.
Yet another shower of medals for the Kundmüller Brewery from Weiher: At the World Beer Awards and the Meininger's International Craft Beer Award, the Weiherer beers won a total of 18 awards, including best German Pils, best German Bock and cellar beer of the year 2021. Thus, the number of medals won within this year increases to a total of 27.
“Especially during the Bock beer season, we are extremely pleased that our Weiherer Bock not only received a gold medal, but was also awarded the best throughout Germany; just like our Weiherer Pils and the organic Bio-Zwickerla Dunkel even on an international level. These beers are three classics that belong to our range like foam does to beer and their recipes have been continuously perfected over the years, ”says master brewer and owner Roland Kundmüller.
Just this year alone, the Kundmüller brewery can now call a total of 27 new awards its own. “We are very proud of these prices, they are the confirmation of the consistent high quality of our Weiherer beers. We want to brew the best beer we can. That is why we are constantly developing ourselves - we are paying more attention than ever to the perfect mix of tradition and courage, ” says owner Oswald Kundmüller.
Because not only the classic Weiherer beers have been recognized at the World Beer Awards, but also when it comes to special beers such as wooden barrel-aged specialties or stouts and India Pale Ales, the Kundmüller brewery has become an indispensable part of the German beer landscape.
