Watch out - Kerwa is in Weiher! The Kerwa in Weiher will be celebrated for the 60th time on the coming Whitsun weekend. This year, too, the start of construction in 1962 will be commemorated. Before that, the old church, built in 1870, had to be demolished, and the subsequent construction of the new church was financed exclusively by the people of Weiher's own contributions and donations. This is one of the reasons why the Kerwa in Weiher is celebrated with such pleasure every year! The festive service will take place on Sunday at 10.00 a.m. and our restaurant will cater for your physical well-being: on Friday from 11 a.m. there will be our traditional "Bocksbraten" (roast beef) and delicious "Bierhaxen" (knuckle of beer) and from Saturday to Monday you can enjoy our wide range of Kirchweih specialities. The kerwas tree will be put up on Saturday afternoon by the Weiher volunteer fire brigade. Weather permitting, there will be music in the beer garden on Sunday from 4 p.m. with the Sendelbachtaler Musikanten and on Monday from 4 p.m. with the Eurumer Banditen.
