16 Entrance brewery premises and historical bottle filler

As you can easily see, our historic bottle filler has a few years under its belt.

The good piece dates back to 1959 and stood in the Jäck brewery in Viereth until the beginning of the 1980s. In the 1950s, twelve bottles could be filled at the same time with the help of the bottle filler, which was a technical feat at that time.

Here you can see the entrance to our brewery premises. In the past years, the production has been moved step by step from the lower area next to the pub to two newly built modern halls. There you can learn about logistics, bottling and especially the newly built brewhouse, which is one of the most modern facilities in all of Germany.

Our brewery was newly built in 2020 and is therefore up to date.

We decided on the new building in order to shorten the production routes and have the entire brewing process take place under one roof. An efficient step, both from a logistical point of view and for our employees. With the help of this measure, we were able to adapt our shift operations and can now dispense with extreme late and early shifts. Last but not least, bringing the individual steps together under one roof is also better for our beer.

Since 2020, we have been brewing in our new, energy-efficient and innovative 60 hl 5-vessel brewhouse (1 hl = 100 liters) from Kaspar Schulz, Bamberg. Alongside master brewer Roland Kundmüller, our brewers take careful care of Weiher beer every day. And that is also necessary: Because brewing is a complex process.
